Orange Candied Walnut Salad
head Red Leaf Lettuce
head Green Leaf Lettuce

Candied Walnut Halves

Peeled and segmented Oranges

Red Onion, cut into whole rings
DRESSING
5 oz
White Sugar
1 tsp
Salt
1 tsp
Dry Mustard
1
Tbl. Grated Onion
1/2 cup
Cider Vinegar
1
Tbl. Celery Seeds
1 cup
Salad Oil
Combine dressing ingredients in a sealed container and shake until sugar is dissolved. Hand tear (or chop) lettuce leaves into large serving bowl. Dress lettuce only when ready to serve, toss remaining walnut, orange, onion ingredients and serve. NOTE: For candied walnuts, place walnuts, 1 Tbl. melted butter, 2 Tbl. brown sugar in a medium heat pan and continue to stir until sugar melts and absorbed into walnuts, be sure not to burn walnuts. Turn out onto on non stick surface to cool.
