Orange Candied Walnut Salad

head Red Leaf Lettuce

head Green Leaf Lettuce
1 cupCandied Walnut Halves
2Peeled and segmented Oranges
1/2Red Onion, cut into whole rings

5 ozWhite Sugar
1 tspSalt
1 tspDry Mustard
1Tbl. Grated Onion
1/2 cupCider Vinegar
1Tbl. Celery Seeds
1 cupSalad Oil

Combine dressing ingredients in a sealed container and shake until sugar is dissolved.
Hand tear (or chop) lettuce leaves into large serving bowl. Dress lettuce only when ready to serve, toss remaining walnut, orange, onion ingredients and serve.
NOTE: For candied walnuts, place walnuts, 1 Tbl. melted butter, 2 Tbl. brown sugar in a medium heat pan and continue to stir until sugar melts and absorbed into walnuts, be sure not to burn walnuts. Turn out onto on non stick surface to cool.
