Hawaii's Dole Whip

Hawaii's Dole Whip Tall Blonde Cookbook Recipe

Aloha-
If you have ever visited the Hawaiian Islands, you know about Dole Whip.  This is the smoothest, creamiest refreshingly ice coldest cup of nirvana you have ever tasted.  Disney (who owns the Dole company) has released the recipe for you to now make it at home.
After a few attempts of my own I have tweaked the recipe to make it my own.

NOTE: I have a regular food blender that has an ice crushing feature, but you will do well if you already own one of those fancy-dancy expensive units.

1 cup canned pineapple, drained and finely chopped (reserve syrup)
1/2 small banana, diced small
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 Tbl. powdered sugar
2 Tbl. pineapple syrup (from reserve)
1/2 tea. pineapple extract

After dicing pineapple and banana, place on a non stick surface and put in the freezer for a couple hours until solid.

Place all ingredients in a blender jar and the blending process will take about 3 minutes.  This means you will be lifting the lid and pressing down ingredients every 5 seconds to eventually have a creamy blend, but it is worth it. Maybe a splash of Rum might be good too!
